This is the first illustration in the "Sublevels Beneath the Known" series. Our small necromancer hero receives his quest from the dungeon lords: "Travel through the sublevels of The Necrolattice to reach your goal." What does that mean? I have no idea yet, but it'll probably be realized some day in storybook form with poetry. Wow!
